UNISON Scotland have managed to secure some limited funding through Scottish Union Learning to provide a short programme of free courses for January and February.
The courses are:
Mental Health Awareness
An introduction to Mental Health issues, it’s impact on people and what can be done to support people with poor mental health – particularly relevant just now with so many people struggling due to the pandemic.
20th January – 10am to 12pm
21st January – 2pm to 4pm
26th January – 10am to 12pm
27th January – 2pm to 4pm
Workshop will explore the symptoms and impact of the menopause as well as self-help and signposting for help and advice.
27th January – 10am to 12pm
4th February – 10am to 12pm
11th February – 10am to 12pm
Trauma Awareness Taster
Workshop will explore what trauma is , how it can manifest itself and put it into context in terms of the ongoing pandemic as well as offering advice and signposting.
18th January – 11am to 12pm (very limited spaces available)
18th January – 2pm to 3pm
Saving Energy at Home
A Short Workshop run by Home Energy Scotland giving tips and and advice on how to save Energy and therefore a wee bit money at home.
21st January – 10am to 11am
